# Welcome to DIA

DIA is a workspace for AI chat. Your team picks from many AI models, works in Shared chats that everyone can see, keeps Private chats to themselves, and pays for all of it from one pool of credits.

## A few words you will see

A **workspace** has its own members, chats and credits. You can belong to several, and the switcher at the top of the sidebar moves you between them.

A **Shared chat** is visible to everyone in the workspace, and any member can continue it. A **Private chat** is visible only to you. Both use the workspace's credits.

**Credits** pay for replies. Each model has its own cost, and DIA shows an estimate before you send.
