# DIA Docs > Full documentation for DIA Docs. Guides for using DIA, the shared workspace for every leading AI model, and for running a business on the DIA partner program. --- # Welcome to DIA > Learn what DIA is and find your way around: workspaces, Shared and Private chats, AI models and the credits that pay for replies. Source: https://docs.dia.now/ # Welcome to DIA DIA is a workspace for AI chat. Your team picks from many AI models, works in Shared chats that everyone can see, keeps Private chats to themselves, and pays for all of it from one pool of credits. Sign up, confirm your email and set up your first workspace. Choose who sees the chat, pick a model and send your first message. Add people by email or share a join link. See what a message costs before you send it. ## A few words you will see A **workspace** has its own members, chats and credits. You can belong to several, and the switcher at the top of the sidebar moves you between them. A **Shared chat** is visible to everyone in the workspace, and any member can continue it. A **Private chat** is visible only to you. Both use the workspace's credits. **Credits** pay for replies. Each model has its own cost, and DIA shows an estimate before you send. ## Running a partner business? The [Partners](/partners) section covers the partner program, from applying to getting paid. --- # Create your account > Sign up for DIA, confirm your email with a 6-digit code, sign in on a new device and reset a forgotten password. Source: https://docs.dia.now/create-your-account # Create your account Go to [app.dia.now/sign-up](https://app.dia.now/sign-up). If someone invited you, open the link in your invite instead, so you land in their workspace. Fill in your full name, email and password. The password needs at least 12 characters, a number and a symbol. Tick the box to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, then click **Create account**. Enter the 6-digit code DIA emails you and click **Verify and continue**. The code expires after 10 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check spam or click **Resend**. Pick **For myself** or **With my team**, then click **Continue**. People joining from an invite skip this step. **For myself** gives you a Free workspace straight away, with 500 credits a month. **With my team** walks you through [creating a team workspace](/workspaces). ## Sign in Go to [app.dia.now](https://app.dia.now), enter your work email and password, and click **Sign in**. On a new device, DIA also emails you a code to confirm it's you. ## Reset your password On the sign-in page, click **Forgot password?**, enter your email and click **Send reset code**. Type in the code from your email. Choose a new password and click **Update password**. This signs you out on your other devices. DIA never says whether an account exists for an address, so the reset page looks the same either way. If no code arrives, check that you typed the address you signed up with. ## Sign out Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and click **Sign out**. --- # Start a chat > Start a DIA chat: choose who sees it, pick a model, check the credit estimate, stop a reply and recover when one fails. Source: https://docs.dia.now/start-a-chat # Start a chat Click **New chat** in the sidebar, or the plus button next to the Shared or Private section. Under **Who sees this chat**, pick **Shared** or **Private**. [Shared and Private chats](/shared-and-private-chats) explains the difference. Open the model picker and choose one. Each model shows its approximate cost in credits. Type your message, check the credit estimate and click **Send**. ## While DIA replies To cancel a reply, click **Stop**, which appears where **Send** was while your message box is empty. Nothing is charged for a stopped reply. Only the person who asked, an Owner or an Admin can stop it. You can keep typing and send another message during a reply. DIA holds it until the reply finishes. ## If a reply fails A notice with **Try again** appears in the chat. Problems with credits, limits or the model appear as a warning above your message box, and your message stays there so you don't lose it. If the workspace is out of credits, see [When credits run out](/credits#when-credits-run-out). ## Find a chat later Click **Search** in the sidebar, or press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows. Search looks through the chats loaded in your sidebar. It doesn't search the text of messages. --- # Shared and Private chats > Understand who can see Shared and Private chats in DIA, how to move a chat between them and what the Share button does. Source: https://docs.dia.now/shared-and-private-chats # Shared and Private chats Every chat is either Shared or Private. Credits come from the same workspace pool either way. | | Shared | Private | | --- | --- | --- | | Who can see it | Everyone in the workspace | Only you | | Who can continue it | Any member | Only you | | What admins see | The whole chat | Credit totals, never titles or messages | ## Move a chat Open the **...** menu on the chat and choose **Move to Shared** or **Move to Private**. You can also drag it between the two sections of the sidebar. Moving a chat to Shared removes nobody's access. Moving it to Private does, so DIA asks first and names who will lose access. Owners and Admins can restrict these moves in **Settings > Members**: - **Who can share chats** sets who may move their own Private chat to Shared. - **Who can make Shared chats private** can be the chat's creator, Owners and Admins, or nobody. An Owner or Admin can also lock a Shared chat so it stays Shared. The **...** menu has **Lock** and **Unlock**. ## Share a link to a chat The **Share** button in a Shared chat copies the chat's address. It works for people in your workspace. Anyone else who opens it gets a message that the chat isn't available. You can't share a chat with people outside your workspace, or with only some of its members. To show a Private chat to your team, move it to Shared. ## Turn Private chats off Owners and Admins can turn Private chats off for the whole workspace with **Allow Private chats** in **Settings > Members**, or for one person with the switch in that person's row. --- # Models and response settings > Choose a model in DIA, set effort, length and creativity, use web search with sources, and generate images in a chat. Source: https://docs.dia.now/models-and-responses # Models and response settings ## Choose a model Click the model name next to your message box. Search by name, filter the list, or use the tabs for recommended models, favorites, image models and each vendor. Each model shows about how many credits it uses. Click the heart on a model to add it to Favorites. Favorites follow you across workspaces. Owners and Admins decide which models your workspace can use, so your list may differ from someone else's in another workspace. New chats start on your own default model, then the workspace default, then the first model allowed. Set yours in **Settings > General** under **Your preferences**. You can switch models during a chat. ## Adjust the response Click the effort button by the message box to open the **Response** panel. | Setting | What it does | | --- | --- | | Effort | Quick, Balanced or Deep. Admins can set a maximum. | | Length | Short, Normal or Detailed. | | Web search | Lets DIA look things up when it helps. | | Creativity | A slider from Precise to Creative, under Advanced. | | Instructions for this chat | Your own guidance for this chat, under Advanced. | Click **Use as my default for new chats** to keep these settings, or **Reset** to clear them. ## Web search Web search is on by default. Replies that use it list their sources, so you can check them. Turn it off for a chat in the **Response** panel. Owners and Admins can turn it off for the workspace with **Let models search the web** in **Settings > Models**. ## Images Pick a model from the **Image** tab, or just ask for a picture in your chat. If you haven't chosen an image model, DIA asks you to pick one and remembers it. You can change it under **Image model** in **Settings > General**. Generated images offer **Edit image...** and **Try another model**. Each model has its own credit price, shown in the picker. ## What replies can contain Besides text, a reply can include tables, charts, code blocks, maths and maps. Tables have **Copy**. **Open as sheet** on a table downloads it as a CSV file. Charts have **View as table** and **Download PNG**. --- # Attach files > Attach files to a DIA message by drag, paste or button. See the size and count limits and how virus scanning works. Source: https://docs.dia.now/attach-files # Attach files Click **Attach**, drop files anywhere on the chat, or paste them into your message. You can add up to 10 files to a message, and each can be up to 25 MB. DIA refuses empty files, dragged folders and some file types. There's also a daily upload limit. If you reach it, try again the next day. ## Virus scanning DIA scans every upload before anyone can open it. The file shows its progress, then **Scanning for viruses...**, and **Send** stays off until your files are clear. If DIA finds a threat, the file shows as blocked. It isn't uploaded, DIA doesn't read it, and nobody in the workspace can see it. Once sent, a file can be seen by the same people who can see the chat. [Files & Media](/files-and-media) lists everything in one place. --- # Edit and regenerate > Edit a message you sent in DIA, regenerate part of a reply, try another model, or branch a block into a new linked chat. Source: https://docs.dia.now/edit-and-regenerate # Edit and regenerate ## Edit your message Hover over your message, open the grip menu and choose **Edit message**. Then click **Save** to change only the text, or **Save and regenerate** to get a new reply. Only that message and its reply change. ## Regenerate part of a reply Hover over a block in a reply, open the grip menu and choose one: - **Regenerate** tries again. - **Regenerate with changes...** lets you say what to change. The quick options are Shorter, Longer, Simpler and More detail. - **Try another model** runs it on a different model. Older versions stay available, and you can step through them with the arrows on the block. ## Ask about part of a reply Select text in a reply and click **Ask DIA** to quote it in your next message. ## Branch into a new chat Open the grip menu on a block and choose **New session from this block**. DIA opens a linked chat that starts from that block, and it sits under the original chat in your sidebar. --- # Organize your chats > Pin, rename, reorder and delete chats in DIA, and see who can do each one in Shared chats. Source: https://docs.dia.now/organize-chats # Organize your chats The **...** menu on a chat has **Pin**, **Rename**, **Move to Private** or **Move to Shared**, and **Delete**. You can also rename a chat by clicking its title. ## Pin chats Each section holds up to 20 pinned chats. Only Owners and Admins can pin Shared chats. Drag pinned chats to reorder them. ## Delete a chat The person who started a chat can delete it. Owners and Admins can also delete Shared chats. Credits already spent stay spent. ## Unread chats A dot marks new replies in chats you started. --- # Files & Media > Find every file, picture and link from your DIA chats in one library, with filters, versions and access details. Source: https://docs.dia.now/files-and-media # Files & Media Click **Files & Media** in the sidebar. The library has tabs for All, Media, Files and Links. Filter by who added something, by chat, or by what DIA made, and sort by date, name or size. Grid and list views are both available. **Upload** adds a file to your Private files, where only you can see it. ## File details Click a file to see its details. From there you can use **Show in chat** and **Download**, see earlier versions and restore one, and check who has access and the scan result. A file in a Shared chat is visible to everyone in the workspace. **Delete** appears only for your own files that were never sent in a chat. ## Files in a chat Once a chat has a file, **Files** appears in its header with a count. It opens a side panel for that chat's files. Pictures open in a viewer, and the arrow keys move between them. --- # Docs and Ask DIA > Have DIA write a Doc from a chat, edit it yourself, ask for changes with Ask DIA and restore an earlier version. Source: https://docs.dia.now/docs-and-ask-dia # Docs and Ask DIA Ask DIA in a chat to write a document. A file card appears in the reply, and DIA keeps writing while you watch. Click the card, or find the file under **Files** in the chat header, to open it in a window over the chat. You can move, resize, snap, maximize and minimize these windows, and keep several open at once. DIA creates Docs from a chat. There's no New document button, and you can't import a Word file into the editor. A Doc opens from its chat, so in Files & Media use **Show in chat** first. ## Edit a Doc The toolbar covers text styles, fonts, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, text color, lists, alignment, links, images and tables. Images are added by web address. The status line shows the saved version, word count and read time. If you lose your connection, DIA keeps your edits and sends them when you're back. ## Ask DIA to change it Type in the **Ask** bar at the bottom of the window. Or select text and choose **Ask DIA**, **Rewrite**, **Shorten**, **Expand** or **Tone**. DIA shows its progress as it edits. Click **Stop** to end it and keep what it has written, or **Undo** on its reply to take the whole edit back in one step. Each Ask uses credits, and only one can run on a Doc at a time. If the Doc is too long to work on whole, select a part of it. ## Restore a version Click the version control in the title bar, pick a version and click **Restore this version**. **Back to current** returns you to the latest one. ## Who can open a Doc The same people who can see the chat's files. --- # Workspaces > Create a DIA workspace, switch between workspaces, and transfer ownership, leave or delete one. Source: https://docs.dia.now/workspaces # Workspaces Each workspace has its own members, chats and credits. Open the switcher at the top of the sidebar to move between yours, or press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows and search for one. ## Create a team workspace Choosing **With my team** at sign-up walks you through three steps. Add an icon, a workspace name and a workspace URL of 3 to 40 letters, numbers and dashes. Say roughly how many people will use DIA. Add emails and roles, or share an invite link. **Skip for now** works too. Free continues straight away. Team or Business goes to checkout. ## Create another workspace Open the switcher and click **Create workspace**. Each person can own one Free workspace, so a second one you own needs Team or Business. You can join as many workspaces as you're invited to. Pay within 24 hours to keep the new workspace. Until then the switcher marks it **Not paid**, with **Finish payment** and **Cancel**. DIA deletes it if you don't pay, and you can have only one waiting at a time. ## Change workspace details Owners and Admins can change the icon, name and URL in **Settings > General**. To reach Settings, open the switcher and click **Settings**. ## Transfer ownership The Owner can click **Transfer ownership** in the danger zone of **Settings > General**. You become an Admin, and you can't undo this yourself. If the new owner already owns a Free workspace, they need to pay within 24 hours, and they can **Take over** or **Decline**. ## Leave or delete a workspace Members and Admins can click **Leave workspace** in **Settings > General**. An Owner has to transfer ownership first. **Delete workspace** is for Owners. You type the workspace name to confirm, and it can't be undone. --- # Members and invites > Invite people to a DIA workspace by email or join link, see what Owners, Admins and Members can do, and manage members. Source: https://docs.dia.now/members-and-invites # Members and invites Owners and Admins manage people in **Settings > Members**. Every plan allows unlimited members. ## Invite by email In **Settings > Members**, click **Invite people**. Enter email addresses, separated by commas or spaces. Choose Member or Admin. You can also set a monthly credit limit and choose whether they can use Private chats. Click **Send invite**. Each person gets an email with a link that works for 7 days. An emailed invite works only for the address it went to. Pending invites appear in their own list with **Revoke**. To send one again, revoke it and invite the person again. ## Share a join link Turn on **Join link** in **Settings > Members** and copy the link. Anyone with it joins as a Member. Links can expire after 1 day, 7 days or 30 days, or never. **New link** ends the old one. ## Roles Owners and Admins manage members. Only the Owner manages billing. | Settings tab | Owner | Admin | Member | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | General | Edit | Edit | Read, plus own preferences | | Members | Yes | Yes | Hidden | | Billing & credits | Everything | Read | Read, plus own limit and usage | | Models | Yes | Yes | Hidden | | Security | Yes | Yes | Hidden | ## Manage a member Each row in the members table has **Edit monthly limit**, **Make admin** or **Make member**, and **Remove from workspace**. Removing someone takes away their access right away. The Shared chats they took part in stay, and the credits they used stay counted. --- # Models and workspace rules > Choose which models your DIA workspace can use, and set the default model, effort limit and web search for everyone. Source: https://docs.dia.now/workspace-settings # Models and workspace rules Owners and Admins set these in **Settings > Models**. | Setting | What it does | | --- | --- | | Default model | The model new chats start on when a member has no default of their own. | | Effort limit | The highest effort members can choose. | | Let models search the web | Turns web search on or off for the workspace. | | Model list | Members see only the models turned on here. Keep at least one on. | The pencil on a model lets you edit what members read about it, up to 80 characters. --- # Security and audit log > Verify your domain so colleagues join your DIA workspace at sign-in, and review or export activity in the audit log. Source: https://docs.dia.now/security # Security and audit log These settings are in **Settings > Security**, for Owners and Admins. ## Verify your domain On the Business plan, people with an email on your verified domain join your workspace as Members the next time they sign in. Click **Add domain** and enter it. Add the TXT record DIA shows you at your DNS provider. Click **Verify now**. DIA also checks every few minutes, and DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. ## Audit log The audit log is on the Business plan. It records who invited or removed people, changed roles or limits, changed models or settings, shared or locked chats, bought credits and changed the plan. The **Audit log** card shows the latest entries, and **View all** opens the full list. Filter by member, action and date. Entries stay for one year, and Private chat content is never logged. To save a copy, click **Export** and pick a range. DIA emails you a link to a CSV file, and the link works for 24 hours. --- # Credits > Learn how DIA credits work: one pool per workspace, cost estimates, member limits, buying more and what happens at zero. Source: https://docs.dia.now/credits # Credits A workspace has one pool of credits, shared by all its members. Shared and Private chats both draw from it. Every message shows an estimate before you send it, and the actual cost appears under the reply. Different models and effort levels cost different amounts. The meter in the sidebar shows what's left this month. ## Member limits Owners and Admins can give someone a monthly limit in the **Monthly limit** column of **Settings > Members**. It counts both Shared and Private chats. Members can see their own limit and usage in **Settings > Billing & credits**. ## Buy more credits Owners can buy credits in **Settings > Billing & credits**. This is a one-time purchase, and bought credits last a month. **Auto top-up** buys more when the balance drops below an amount you choose. Admins get an email at 20% and 5% remaining, and if a top-up fails. ## See who used what **Settings > Billing & credits** shows usage by member to Owners and Admins. **Export CSV** emails you a link that works for 24 hours. ## When credits run out If you reach your own limit, DIA tells you so and pauses your chats. If the workspace runs out, chat pauses for everyone. Either way, your message stays in the box. The Owner can click **Buy credits**, **Turn on auto top-up** or **Raise my limit**. Everyone else can click **Ask for more credits**, which notifies the Owner. --- # Plans and billing > Compare DIA's Free, Team and Business plans, then upgrade, downgrade or cancel, and manage your card and invoices. Source: https://docs.dia.now/plans-and-billing # Plans and billing Plans are priced per workspace, not per person, and every plan allows unlimited members. | Plan | Credits a month | Includes | | --- | --- | --- | | Free | 500 | All models, Private chats, unlimited members | | Team | 10,000 | Shared and Private spaces, member limits and usage reports | | Business | 30,000 | Everything in Team, plus verified domains and the audit log | Current prices are on [dia.now](https://dia.now) and on the plan screen in the app. Each person can own one Free workspace. ## Change your plan Only the Owner can do this, in **Settings > Billing & credits**. An upgrade starts today, and your card is charged the prorated difference now. A downgrade takes effect on your renewal date. ## Cancel Click **Cancel plan**. You keep your plan until the end of the period, then the workspace moves to Free. **Keep** undoes the cancellation before that date. ## Payment The **Payment** area is for the Owner, and has **Update card**, billing details and invoices as PDF files. If a payment fails, a red banner appears with **Update card**, and you can't change plans until it's fixed. If the workspace moves to Free after a failed payment, it keeps the credits it bought. --- # Your account > Change your name, photo, password and theme in DIA, set your default models and find out how to get help. Source: https://docs.dia.now/your-account # Your account Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and click **Account settings**. | Setting | Details | | --- | --- | | Photo | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 10 MB. Remove it to go back to your initials. | | Name | Shown to people in your workspaces. | | Email | Can't be changed yet. | | Password | **Change password** keeps your other devices signed in. | | Theme | Light, Dark or System, saved on this browser. | ## Your default models Set your default model and image model in **Settings > General**, under **Your preferences**. These apply to you and nobody else. ## Need help? Write to us through the [contact page](https://dia.now/contact). --- # DIA Partners > The DIA partner program has two paths: refer customers as an affiliate, or sell DIA under your own brand as a reseller. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners # DIA Partners The partner program has two paths. **Affiliates** refer customers to DIA and earn commission. **Resellers** offer DIA to their own clients under their own brand and bill them directly. Compare the two programs. Send a request and see what happens next. Find your way around and finish setup. See how money moves between you and DIA. Questions about the program? Write to [partners@dia.now](mailto:partners@dia.now). --- # Affiliate or reseller > Compare DIA's affiliate and reseller programs: earnings, commitment, wholesale discount, branding and company checks. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/affiliate-or-reseller # Affiliate or reseller | | Affiliate | Reseller | | --- | --- | --- | | What you do | Refer customers to DIA | Offer DIA under your own brand | | How you earn | 25% of subscription revenue for 12 months per referred customer | You set client prices and keep the difference from wholesale | | Who bills the client | DIA | You | | Monthly commitment | None | Pro $500, Enterprise $2,000, paid in advance | | Wholesale discount | None | Pro 25%, Enterprise 35% | | Branding | DIA's | Your product name, logo, color and domains | | Wallet | No | Yes, prepaid | | Company check | No | Yes | Resellers give their clients first-line support, and DIA backs them. Resellers also get a referral link and can earn from it like an affiliate. Their own client workspaces don't earn commission. ## Reseller tiers You ask for Pro or Enterprise when you apply, and DIA confirms the tier when it approves you. Later, a Partner admin can ask for a higher tier from **Compare tiers** in Partner settings. DIA replies within 3 business days, and an approved change takes effect on the 1st of the next month. --- # Apply to the program > Apply to the DIA partner program as an affiliate or reseller, and see how the review works and what happens next. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/apply # Apply to the program You don't need a DIA account to apply. Nothing is charged until you're approved. Go to [partners.dia.now/apply](https://partners.dia.now/apply). Pick Affiliate or Reseller. Resellers also pick a tier, Pro or Enterprise. Fill in your company name, website, country, your name and work email. Say what best describes you and how you plan to offer DIA. Resellers also estimate how many clients they expect in year one. Tick the box to let DIA contact you, then click **Send request**. You'll get an email confirming we received it. DIA reviews every request and replies within 3 business days. One address can have one request under review at a time. If DIA declines a request, you can apply again 90 days after the reply. ## After you're approved Resellers get a welcome email naming the tier, discount and commitment, with a **Sign the partner terms** button. That link lasts 14 days. Then follow [Sign the terms and activate](/partners/terms-and-activation). --- # Sign the terms and activate > Accept your DIA partner invite, sign the partner terms and, as a reseller, pay your first month to open the portal. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/terms-and-activation # Sign the terms and activate Open the link in your invite and sign in with the address it was sent to, or create an account with that address. Then the portal asks you to finish two steps. Affiliates only need the first. ## Sign the partner terms The page summarizes your tier, commitment, payouts, support and price changes above the full terms. You can download them as a PDF. Enter your full name and role, tick the box to accept on behalf of your company, and click **Accept and continue**. Only a Partner admin can sign. The portal opens for the whole team afterward. You can read the terms again from **View terms** in Partner settings, or on the **Resources** page. For questions about them, write to [partners@dia.now](mailto:partners@dia.now). ## Pay your first month Resellers pay before the portal opens. A Partner admin or Billing member sees the amount due today, which covers the rest of this month, and the date of the next charge. DIA sets whether you pay by card or by invoice: - **By card**, click **Pay and activate**. The portal opens as soon as the payment goes through. - **By invoice**, click **Get the invoice**, then **Open the invoice**. The portal opens when it's paid. If DIA needs your billing email or address first, the page links you to Partner settings. --- # The partner portal > Find your way around the DIA partner portal: its pages, the setup guide, Partner settings and Resources. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/partner-portal # The partner portal The portal is at [partners.dia.now](https://partners.dia.now). Sign in with your normal DIA account. ## Navigation | Page | What it's for | | --- | --- | | Overview | Client revenue, margin, active clients and what needs attention | | Clients | Client workspaces | | Brand studio | Your product name, look and domains | | Pricing & margins | Your plans and client prices | | Models | Which models your clients can use | | Wallet & payouts | Balance, commitment, payouts and statements | | Affiliate | Your referral link and earnings | | Resources | Marketing material, the terms and your partner manager | | Team | People in your portal | What you see depends on your [role](/partners/team-and-roles) and program. Affiliates see Affiliate, Resources, Team and Partner settings. The switcher at the top of the sidebar moves you between the portal and your own DIA workspaces, and it opens **Partner settings**. Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows to search clients, plans, pages and actions. ## Setup guide New resellers get a checklist on Overview: 1. Sign the partner terms 2. Pay your first month 3. Verify your company 4. Fund your wallet 5. Set your brand 6. Add your first client After your first client, it becomes a floating **Setup guide** that you can minimize. ## Partner settings Partner settings holds your company name, website, billing email, VAT ID, address and country. Your company logo appears in the portal, on statements and in partner emails. It can be a square PNG or SVG file, up to 2 MB. ## Resources **Resources** has material DIA publishes for partners, the partner terms and your partner manager's contact details. Your partner manager replies within one business day. --- # Team and roles > Invite your team to the DIA partner portal and see what Partner admin, Billing, Support and Sales can each do. The portal shows usage, credits and revenue per workspace, never chat content. ## Invite someone Partner admins go to **Team** and click **Invite member**. Enter up to 20 email addresses, separated by commas or spaces. Choose the role and click **Send invite**. Each link works for 7 days. Partner admins can also re-send or revoke an invite, change a role, and remove someone from the team. Re-sending stops the old link from working. Any member can click **Leave partner**. Every partner needs a Partner admin, so the last one can't leave or give up the role. Your team doesn't join your clients' workspaces. Clients manage their own members. --- # Company check > Verify your company as a DIA reseller: the details and documents you need, and what each review status means. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/company-check # Company check Resellers verify their company once. It usually takes 1 business day, and your clients never see these details. A Partner admin does this from the **Company check** card in Partner settings. Click **Verify your company**, then fill in your legal company name, registration number, VAT ID, registered address, city and country. Add your registration certificate and a director's passport or ID card. PDF, JPEG and PNG files up to 10 MB work. Click **Submit for review**. The card shows **Not sent**, **In review**, **Changes requested** or **Verified**. You can't edit the details while they're in review or after they're verified. If DIA asks for changes, click **Fix and resend**, correct them and click **Send for review again**. A document marked **Needs a clearer copy** needs uploading again. --- # Clients > Create client workspaces as a DIA reseller, then change plans, add credits, suspend a workspace or move a client to DIA. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/clients # Clients The **Clients** page lists client workspaces with their plan, members and status. Search it by name. ## Add a client Partner admins and Sales can do this. Click **New client**. Add the company name and admin email. The workspace URL is optional. Pick the plan and billing period. A panel shows what the client pays, your wholesale cost and your margin. Choose whether to allow Private chats and click **Create & invite**. The admin who accepts becomes the workspace Owner and manages its members. A paid plan waits for the Owner to pay. **Re-send invite** is on the client's page if they missed the email. Paid plans open once payouts are set up in your country. Until then, clients start on Free. ## Manage a client Partner admins have these actions on the client's page. **Change plan.** Upgrades start now and are prorated. Downgrades start at the next cycle. **Add credits.** Choose 10,000, 25,000 or 50,000. The wholesale cost leaves your wallet now, and the credits last a month. **Charge the client** adds them to the client's next invoice at your credit price, on paid plans. **Suspend workspace.** Pick a reason. Members keep every chat and file but can't chat until you resume it, and DIA emails the owner and admins the reason. **Move to DIA direct.** The client keeps every chat, member and setting, and leaves your list right away. A paid plan moves to DIA's direct price at the end of the period, on the same card. You can't undo this from the portal. Your actions appear in the client's audit log under your company's name. --- # Pricing and models > Set your client plans and credit prices as a DIA reseller, see your margin, and choose which models clients can use. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/pricing-and-models # Pricing and models Partner admins manage both of these. DIA charges you wholesale, and you keep the difference between that and what your clients pay. ## Set your prices **Pricing & margins** has a card for each plan. Set the monthly and yearly price and the credits per month. The card shows your wholesale cost and margin. To add your own plan, click **New plan**, name it and build it on Team or Business. Choose its prices, credits and models. **Archive plan** hides a plan from new clients, and clients on it stay until you move them. Under **Credits**, set your price per 1,000 credits. Clients see credits, never token prices. The **Margin calculator** tries out numbers without saving anything. ## Pricing rules You can never price below wholesale. Changes apply from the next billing cycle, with 30 days' notice to existing clients. ## Choose your models The **Models** page controls what your clients can use. Turn models on one at a time, or a whole vendor at once. **Edit** on a model sets its display name, picker description, badge, plans and maximum effort. Workspace admins can set a lower effort limit, never a higher one. **Preview as client** shows how the picker looks to them. Nothing you do there is sent or saved. --- # Brand and domains > Put your brand on DIA: set your product name, logo and color, connect a custom domain and send email from your own domain. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/brand-and-domains # Brand and domains Partner admins work in the **Brand studio**. Clients see DIA's look until you publish. ## Set your brand Enter your product name and upload a logo. It can be a PNG of at least 256 px or an SVG, up to 2 MB. Pick a preset color or enter a hex value, then Rounded, Soft or Sharp corners. Check the live preview in light, dark and mobile. Click **Publish changes**. Clients see it on their next page load. Drafts save automatically, and **Discard** drops them. Every reseller gets a site address, and **Open** in the Brand studio takes you there. Clients sign up and sign in there under your brand. ## Connect a custom domain You can connect one subdomain, such as `ai.yourcompany.com`. Root domains aren't accepted. Under **Domains**, enter it next to **Custom domain** and click **Connect**. Copy the CNAME record to your DNS provider. Click **Check again**. Verification can take up to an hour. Sign-in on the domain then sets up without another record, usually within the hour. Until then, DIA sends visitors to your site address. ## Send client emails from your domain Under **Email domain**, enter a domain such as `mail.yourcompany.com` and click **Connect**. Add the records shown, then click **Check again**. Until it's verified, emails come from DIA's address with your brand's name. ## New sign-ups on your site The **Free sign-ups on your site** switch in **Pricing & margins** controls whether new visitors can start on Free. While your account is unpaid, overdue or suspended, your site stops taking new sign-ups, and existing clients can still sign in. --- # Referrals > Share your DIA referral link, see how a referral works from click to payment, and track your commission. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/referrals # Referrals Your link is on the **Affiliate** page, under **Share your link**. Customers who use it get 20% off for 3 months. You earn 25% of subscription revenue for 12 months on each one. ## How a referral works They land on dia.now. The sign-up page shows that you sent them, with the discount applied. They choose a monthly Team or Business plan and pay. Your 12 months of commission start. A referral applies at sign-up only, and the first referral on an account sticks. Your own team can't use your link. ## Track your earnings The **Affiliate** page shows signups, paying customers, what you earned this month and over all time, and a monthly chart. **Referred customers** lists each one with a masked name, plan, join date, commission months and a status. The statuses are On hold, Approved, Owed, Refunded, No commission yet and On Free. Add your payout details so DIA can pay you, under **Add bank account** or **Finish setup**. Your earnings are kept until you do. See [Wallet and payouts](/partners/wallet-and-payouts#get-paid). **Marketing kit** opens the material on the Resources page. --- # Wallet and payouts > Fund your DIA reseller wallet, handle your monthly commitment and failed payments, set up payouts and download statements. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/wallet-and-payouts # Wallet and payouts Resellers have a prepaid wallet that pays DIA wholesale. Affiliates have no wallet, only payouts. Everything is on **Wallet & payouts**. ## Top up Click **Top up**, pick an amount and click **Continue to checkout**. Tax is calculated at checkout, and the balance never expires. If you pay DIA by invoice, click **Create invoice** instead. **Auto top-up** is for card payers. Set the balance that triggers it, the amount to add and a monthly cap. ## Your monthly commitment The **Monthly commitment** card shows your amount, how you pay, the next charge and recent months. ## If a payment fails | Situation | What happens | | --- | --- | | Payment failed | Pay by the date shown to keep adding clients. | | Overdue | New clients stop, as do plan, pricing, brand and domain changes. Existing clients keep working. Use **Pay now** or **Update card**. | | Wallet paused | Wholesale is unpaid, so your clients' paid credits are paused and you can't add clients or credits. The next top-up pays it first. | ## Get paid Payouts go out on the 1st, with a $50 minimum. A smaller amount carries over to the next payout. Partner admins and Billing set up how you receive them. In countries Stripe supports, click **Continue to Stripe**. Stripe checks new accounts in 1 to 2 business days. Elsewhere, DIA pays by bank transfer, and you enter your account holder name, IBAN, BIC or SWIFT, bank name, bank country and currency. Each payout shows as Pending, Sent, Paid or Failed. A failed payout is owed again with the next one. ## Rate changes DIA emails you about a rate change, 30 days ahead for a rise. ## Reports and statements **Overview** shows client revenue, margin, active clients, wallet balance and top clients over 30 days, 90 days or 12 months. **Statements** downloads wholesale charges, top-ups and payouts as PDF or CSV, for up to 12 months at a time. --- # Leave the program > See what happens when you leave the DIA partner program: the 30-day notice, your clients, your wallet and portal access. Source: https://docs.dia.now/partners/leave-the-program # Leave the program A Partner admin clicks **Leave program** in the danger zone of Partner settings. The program ends after 30 days' notice. Until then, **Stay in the program** withdraws it. When it ends: - Clients move to DIA direct. Paid plans go to DIA's prices from their next renewal. - DIA removes clients who never accepted their invite or never paid. - Your wallet balance, less anything unpaid, leaves with the next payout. - The portal turns read-only for payouts, statements and your team.
